Running scripts locally

For local development you can use the deployctl tool. It is a thin wrapper around the deno tool that updates deno to use the correct typings for Deno Deploy.

You can install the deployctl tool like this:

deno install --allow-read --allow-write --allow-env --allow-net --allow-run --no-check -f https://deno.land/x/deploy/deployctl.ts

You can then run your scripts locally:

$ deployctl run https://git.io/JLPG6
Listening on http://0.0.0.0:8080

To watch for file changes add the --watch flag:

$ deployctl run --watch ./main.ts
Listening on http://0.0.0.0:8080

For more information visit the chapter on deployctl.

Please file an issue in our feedback repository if you find any problem in Deploy service or documentation.
