Register for Deno Fest Tokyo, October 20th 2023

The Deno team is excited to invite you to Deno Fest, taking place on October 20th in Tokyo. This event is a collaborative effort between Toranoana Lab and Deno.

The venue is situated in the vibrant Akihabara area of Tokyo, offering a fantastic backdrop for discussing all things Deno in person. To secure your spot, please register for the event through the connpass website.

Additionally, for those unable to attend in person, we will be live streaming the event on our YouTube channel. You will receive the channel URL upon registering for the “online” (オンライン) seat via the connpass website.

Talks and sessions

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the exciting talks and sessions you can look forward to:

  1. Ryan Dahl, the creator of Deno, will deliver the keynote address, focusing on Deno’s compatibility with npm.

  2. Yosuke Furukawa, Head of JSConf JP, will share the history of JavaScript server runtimes.

  3. Kevin Whinnery, Head of Developer Relations at Deno, will survey the current state of web framework support in Deno.

  4. Divy Srivastava, Software Engineer at Deno, will discuss the FFI (Foreign Function Interface) support within Deno.

Throughout the event, we will encourage active participation with interactive Q&A sessions, allowing you to pose your questions directly to Deno team members at the event.

After the presentations conclude, there will be a dedicated networking session, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow Deno enthusiasts.
